Guest House “Staro Myasto”

Mountain tranquillity, comfort and a true escape into nature – this is what awaits you at Guest House “Staro Myasto”, tucked away in the forests overlooking Kardzhali Reservoir. The house is located about 2 km from the village of Penyovo and is reached via a scenic secondary forest road. It is not a main or motorway road, which is part of the charm of the location and the feeling of being truly secluded in nature.

Here you can escape the noise and stress of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet, fresh air and beautiful views of the reservoir.

“Staro Myasto” is a cozy, fully renovated traditional country house built of stone and wood. Its architecture and interior preserve the authentic Bulgarian character and atmosphere of times gone by, while offering all the modern comforts you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Guests can enjoy a landscaped garden, a spacious outdoor stone charcoal barbecue and a large veranda with beautiful views of Kardzhali Reservoir – the perfect setting for long evenings with family and friends.

The house also has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, dishwasher, cookware, crockery and cutlery.

Accommodation

Guest House “Staro Myasto” accommodates 6+1 guests, with three cozy double bedrooms and a sofa bed. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and share a bathroom.

A baby cot is also available for our youngest guests, aged 0–4.

On the ground floor, you will find a spacious and bright living room with large French windows overlooking the reservoir, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and pets are welcome at no extra charge.

Surrounded by nature

The area is perfect for anyone looking for peace, privacy and a break from city life. The surroundings offer excellent opportunities for fishing, woodland walks and hiking along nearby mountain trails.
